A Great Wizard In The Making

Oh yeah I'm still alive!lol!
I had a few exams and a hell lot more works to do so I didn't even find a minute to draw.
Anyway I had time these past three days and I worked on this drawing of Remus in one of his most huggable/kissable/shaggable and cutest moments in the books!

 Yes -- yes -- a boy," said Lupin again, who seemed dazed by his own happiness. He strode around the table and hugged Harry; the scene in the basement of Grimmauld Place might never have happened.
"You'll be godfather?" he said as he released Harry.
"M-me?" stammered Harry.
"You, yes, of course -- Dora quite agrees, no one better --"
"I -- yeah -- blimey --"
Harry felt overwhelmed, astonished, delighted; now Bill was hurrying to fetch wine, and Fleur was persuading Lupin to join them for a drink.
"I can't stay long, I must get back," said Lupin, beaming around at them all: He looked years younger than Harry had ever seen him. "Thank you, thank you, Bill"
Bill had soon filled all of their goblets, they stood and raised them high in a toast.
"To Teddy Remus Lupin," said Lupin, "a great wizard in the making!"
"'Oo does 'e look like?" Fleur inquired.
"I think he looks like Dora, but she thinks he is like me. Not much hair. It looked black when he was born, but I swear it's turned ginger in the hour since. Probably blond by the time I get back. Andromeda says Tonks's hair started changing color the day that she was born." He drained his goblet. "Oh, go on then, just one more," he added, beaming, as Bill made to fill it again.

Yeah  yeah I wrote nearly a page of the book here but I couldn't resist cutting this WONDERFUL scene any shorter! Yeah and let's totally ignore those useless pages in the last chapters!They never happenend anywayC:



Well,actually this is the moment he's shouting " To Teddy Remus Lupin a great wizard in the making.".
I think it was nice if I started drawing real backgrounds for my drawings!lol!

What a wonderful thing to come too after watching Chamber of Secrets on TV! Wee! omg...Nat can sing!

That was one of my favorite scenes in the book! I was crying tears of joy and then...well yea that part that happened you know them taking that stupid nap. *rolls eyes* New parents should never go off fighting epic battles!

Am I rambling? Yes? Should I be doing my own final projects, studying for final testes? Yes. Am I doing Advent like things instead? Why yes!

*ahem* I'll be going...lol.

Omg! That scene, and the stuff before it, is like my favourite moment in the whole series in the book, I've actually reread it loads of times. I love the happy expression on Remus's face! He deserved that joy. Thank you for drawing this, I love it!

This is really well done! And it is such a happy moment for him, which you have captured well. :)

I think you definitely have it in you to do wonderful backgrounds, and it would add to the whole image. If you are feeling unsure of what to draw you can go a bit art nouveau like you did in the wedding drawing for the halloween challenge at meta. Or, if I remember correctly - you actually did a very good background for the "will you marry me" drawing also on meta. So go for it!! ;)
